Most of the developed countries of the world are similar. But I find Canada very empty. There is no shortage of space, so the roads are wider than any country in the world. I fell in love with the roads of Canada. What wonderful beauty and disciplined movement. I found a road where there are 10 lanes going and 10 lanes coming. But two lanes out of it are only for police, ambulance and fire service which no other vehicles ply. In Canada I have seen very few speed detector cameras on the roads like in Australia. People here are very law abiding. A traffic sign is enough to give way. Even then, there will be two or two fools who follow the rules less.
Canadian regulations
The government in the country has fulfilled the basic needs of the people. No matter where you live, there is a park or recreation area for kids within walking distance. Be it small or big. You won’t starve to death here and you won’t get sky-high. Government has to pay 40% tax on whatever income you earn. That is why the gap between rich and poor is less in the country. After 18 years everyone is earning and every person has a personal car.
The amount of theft and robbery is negligible. Famous brand cars are parked in front of the houses day and night but no one catches them. No matter what danger you are in, just call 911 and within 5 minutes police or paramedics will come to your aid. The police here are people’s friends. The police always address the citizen politely as Sir Sir.
Environment Canada
Since I have been in summer, the atmosphere is one and the same in winter. Summer is a country full of greenery. All around is green and green. Canadian skies are very bright. The sky looks very beautiful due to the low amount of clouds. There are multiple colored maple trees in the yard of every house, on the road. This maple leaf is the symbol of Canada. Homes in residential areas in Canada are all similar. Because you can’t build your own house there if you want to. You have to do all the house building, buying and selling through an agent. So everything follows the same rules.
If you have a large old tree in your yard and you want to cut it down, you must pay the government a dollar for permission. Or a case will be filed against you. Because you have no right to destroy the balance of nature. Besides, you cannot kill anything natural at will. Suppose you see a snake in your yard but you can’t kill it if you want to. You need to call 911 and they will come right away and take the snake to its location.
No matter where you click with the camera on the arranged country, each one becomes a calendar snap. Here everyone does their own work. Be it rich or poor. There are 2/3 BMW, (Porsche) brand cars at home. On Sunday morning, you will see grass being cut around with the grass cutting machine. People do not throw any kind of garbage on the road. The park hosts picnics and barbeque parties on weekends, while at the end of the day it’s all sparkling. We Bengalis are also civilized there.
Canadian workplace conditions
There is no big or small job in this country. Everyone does all kinds of work. No one’s work is looked down upon here. And this mentality is born from school. Where a child in our country is taught that when you grow up you will be a doctor or an engineer, and that is the dream job of all children. But the dream job of kids in Canada is fireman or garbage truck driver. This is their dream job. When these children grow up, whether they do that job or not, their devotion to that job remains.
They think that through this job more people can be benefited and the society can be kept clean. Canada is a bullshit country for many Bangladeshis. Because they don’t wake up and get breakfast, the driver doesn’t open the car door to go to work, they can’t sit on a mattress chair and sit on a chair at work. Then again it is unbearable to follow so many rules. Bullshit to them altogether.
Why is Canada a paradise?
And if you are of a healthy and disciplined mindset then this will be the kingdom of heaven on earth for you. But there won’t be so much peace if you can’t earn. It is not possible to make a mountain of money as easily as in Bangladesh. You have to struggle for the first 5 years if you want to live there permanently. No matter how big a degree you have in the country, whether you are a doctor, engineer or a senior official of a company, you are zero there.
If you despise the work, you will have to return to the country. Unless you are lucky you will not get standard job very easily. And if you think you can work all day in a super shop like (Walmart) or a burger shop in sales then you will be happy. Abroad is as easy as it is difficult. You just have to adapt yourself. And once you get used to it, you won’t want to come back to this golden land.
Conclusion
All in all I enjoyed Canada very nicely. I have enjoyed a lot of beauty starting from Niagara Falls. I am eternally grateful and very happy to God Almighty for this. InshaAllah, maybe you will meet a new country, a new culture.
